Prey is a great peice of software for anyone, not just people on the road, it lets you keep track of your laptop, phone and tablet whenever stolen or missing through an easy and all in one site. It's lightweight, open source software that gives you full and remote control, to lock, wipe and sound and alarm (useful for when you've misplaced it in your house)

Parking costs finder

for the times you are going to a place and you have no idea how much it is to park in the area, this link will show you what they all cost. Saving you having to go to all the places yourself

These guys are usually good with technology tips and tricks. Whether Android, IOS, Linux, OSX or Windows, they also have tips and tricks for non related stuff.
